Sarah Pucci
Sarah Pucci was an artist, although she would rather introduce herself as “mother of a famous artist, Dorothy Iannone”. She learned to sew at the Industrial school and worked all her life in various factories, including a chocolate factory where she designed fancy chocolate decorations. From 1959 until her death, Pucci made lavishly bejewelled objects that she gave to Dorothy. She considered them first and foremost an expression of love to her daughter.
