In November we organise active reading sessions on Sundays, as part of November Book Month. Together with your family, enjoy stories, fragments and poems that have a link with the work of Dorothy Iannone.
Teacher's Day
11.11, 14:00 – 17:00
On 11 November we are organising a Teacher's Day in collaboration with periodical Klasse. Dorothy Iannone inspires us to discuss themes such as love and sexuality with children and young people.
Art Day for Children
19.11, 10:00 – 18:00
On Sunday 19 November, you are welcome at Art Day for Children. Like every year, we organise extra activities for children and their company.
Student Evening
30.11, 18:00 – 21:00
On 30 November, we welcome all students for special tours and lectures, in order to delve deeper into the complex relationship of Dorothy Iannone and her work (from the 1960s to today) with feminism.
Guided Tours
For those who want to know more, our team of knowledgeable professional guides are ready to guide you through the exhibition. In the context of this exhibition, our guides were trained by Sensoa, the Flemish expertise centre for sexual health, to discuss themes such as love and sexuality with children and young people. Guided tours are available in Dutch, English, French and German.

Walking Talks
Individual visitors can participate in a walking talk on Sunday between 14:00 and 15:00. The tour is free, provided you have a valid entrance ticket. You do not need to make a reservation.
Salon
You are always welcome in the Salon on the first floor for creative assignments related to the exhibition. On Sunday afternoon, a host or hostess will receive you there between 14:00 and 16:00. Reservations are not necessary, the activities are free with a valid entrance ticket.
PROGRAMME IN DE CINEMA
As part of the exhibition, DE CINEMA proposes a programme with various films related to Dorothy Iannone's series Movie People. This series of sculptures is about her favourite films in which unconditional love – or at the very least, sacrificing one's own happiness for the sake of love – is thematised.
